SALIENTES, the real rural world (León)

If you want to discover something totally different, if you fancy an unforgettable adventure in a typical Spanish village...this is your trip! The whole family will enjoy the most this expetience, we guarantee it!

Salientes is a small mountain village in a deep valley in the Northwest of the province of León. From above it is seen as a great mass of slate roofs located on the banks of the river that runs through the depth of the valley surrounded by mountains with the highest peaks in the area and abundant vegetation.
This cute village with 60 inhabitants (twice in summer) and nestled at 1260m is an ideal place to enjoy the physical and emotional tranquillity because of the sensation of feeling the real silence and sounds and smells of the nature that it provides (far from the typical characterizing the large urban areas). While strolling along the paths that were once travelled by animals, you will discover diverse and picturesque natural landscapes which are part of the brown bear habitat. Salientes offers an endless variety of trails and hiking paths for those who want to breathe the fresh air, enjoy the breathtaking views and admire its rich and diverse vegetation. There are many routes you can choose including peaks above 2000m altitude and water sources that flow throughout the year. Once there we will discover the fantastic surroundings, where history, culture and gastronomy await you.

We will stay at one of the most charming houses that adreaminSpain has ever seen. A typical rustic house at the top of the village with barn and stable with no frills but with a beauty and charm that you'll love. It has 3 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and much more better you discover once there!
